Joe Jack Talcum Also known as: Jasper Thread (Beelzebubba)                      Butterfly Fairweather (Soul Rotation & Not Richard, But Dick) Real Name: Joe Genaro Instruments: Guitar, Vocals, Backing Vocals, Accordion, Whistling Tube of Plastic, Piano, Dobro, Sampler Milkmen History: Joe was the founding member of the Dead Milkmen. He started it as a fictional fanzine starring Jack Talcum, before taking the name himself. He and his friend Garth started the band in the late '70s. Other Bands: Joe is probably the most prolific of the post-Dead Milkmen. His other projects include: The Town Managers, Touch Me Zoo, and the latest, Butterfly Joe, with Dean. He has even participated in The Big Mess Orchestra, also with Dean. In Real Life: Joe went to college at Temple, and was a communications major, RTVF (radio, television, and film). Currently, according to an interview with The Onion, Joe is currently employed in web-related business (as are Rodney and Dean). Joe: It's called searchbyvideo.com, and it didn't start out Internet-related, but it's jumping to the Internet now. It's a clearing house for recruitment videos for colleges and boarding schools.
