Joe and Dave subsequently got together and started making music to the lyrics that Rodney was sending. RIP David Schulthise: Tragically, Dave ended his own life on March the 10th of 2004. My sympathies go out to all of his family and friends. Dave was a great bass player and a lovely human being, and will be very much missed. Dave had been the most elusive of Milkmen since the band called it a day. I can't claim to know Dave at all, and only shared a couple of emails with him shortly before the tragic events of March. One thing I do know is that he was very proud of his work with the Dead Milkmen and was very happy to know that something he did would be remembered forever. A: I played in a band called the Dead Milkmen, and, strange as it may seem, I AM allergic to dairy products.
